Italian Gaming Revenues Up in April

Italian internet gambling revenues were up in April when compared to the year prior, the first time revenues have ticked upward since November of last year.

The numbers were €292.2 million compared to €288.1 million, but this was down from €302.4 million in March. The drop from month-to-month was related to sportsbetting, which saw a 6.7% drop to €118.9 million.

Casino revenues were stable, although market leaders Snai and Sisal saw market share decline by 8.3% and 8.5%, respectively.

PokerStars does hold 48.75% of the country's online poker market share, although this is down from 51.28% from last year.
