Parimatch Donates €510,000 to Ukraine

This week it was revealed that the Parimatch Foundation has donated €510,000 to help support residents of Ukraine in the wake of the ongoing conflict in the country.

The foundation works to provide assistance for humanitarian aid, medical needs, and other financial aid for those in need. This is a bit off the foundation's original goal of providing sports and educational opportunities for children, but in the wake of the serious events ongoing, it's certainly understandable.

Parimatch said that over €190,000 of the €510,000 total was used to purchase 40 tons of food, medicine, and clothes, most of which was delivered to Kyiv and Chernhiv, as well as evacuations. The company also helped provide financial support for Ukraine athletes with disabilities.

This is the latest attempt to assist Ukraine by Parimatch, who also helped launch the Ukraine Hospitals Appeal group in conjunction with WeHelpUkranians, with the goal of generating more than $1 million to help keep hospitals in the country providing aid. Additionally, the company pulled its Betring operation in Russia in response to the invasion.

No comment from the company was available at press time.
