This week it was revealed that the Lithuania Gambling Supervisory Authority hit Amber Gaming, the parent company of 7bet with a €6,789 fine for various violations in regards to promoting gambling in the country.
The regulator found that Amber Gaming published content on its Lithuanian site that encouraged players to gamble. The offending statements included the phrases, "For those who want a greater sense of excitement, 7bet offers live real-time casino games. It gives you even more chances to win", and "Online casino: free spins and casino bonus."
The regulator said that the verbiage violated Article 10 (19) of the gaming regulations in the country, as they drew attention to the casino and encouraged play of the casino's games.
Amber Gaming was also notified that further infractions could see the group's gaming license suspended.
The operator can appeal the decision, but as of press time there was no indication whether or not the company planned to do so.

How exactly did they decide on a fine that's 6-7-8-9? That seems like an extremely weird coincidence...
Hahah that is the first thing I thought when I read that too. Perhaps the next more severe penalty is €123,456?
