Ohio Casinos Generate $216 Million in Revenue

This week the Ohio Casino Control Commission and Ohio Lottery announced this week that the Buckeye State's eleven casinos and racetracks generated $216 million in revenue in March, a new record for the state's betting industry.

Casinos generated $93.3 in revenue,, while racecinos had $122.9 million in revenue. The most profitable spot was Jack Cleveland Casino with $24.5 million, followed by Hollywood Columbus Casino at $23.4 million. The Hard Rock Cincinnati Casino had $22.9 million in revenue, while Hollywood Toledo Casino had $22.4 million.

Racino revenue was dominated by the MGM Northfield Park with $26.1 million, followed by Eldorado Scioto Downs in Columbus at $21.7 million. Miami Valley Gaming was third at $20.3 million.

The revenue numbers are up 17% from the month prior, and for the year to date betting revenues have topped $560 million.
