Light & Gaming Extends Relationship With Entain

Last week Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games) announced that they've extended their relationship with Entain and will continue to provide services to Entain's UK businesses through at least 2030.

Light & Wonder provides retail services to Entain through the Ladbrokes and Coral, and will continue to supply and service the more than 10,000 betting kiosks that the company has in operation. The Light & Wonder gaming platform will also offer more than 3,000 games on those machines, with branded games like Lord of the Rings available to players. Backend tools are also provided, giving management and responsible gaming tools to the operators.

Regarding the deal Light & Wonder Senior VP for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Simon Johnson said, "Our teams have more than 20 years of history together and we're excited about supporting Entain through their next phase of growth and innovation."

Entain Retail Managing Director for the UK and Ireland Andy Hicks also commented, adding: "Our stores provide an engaging and differentiated experience for our customers. Light & Wonder enhances that with the industry's best gaming machines backed up by a great range of leading games, service infrastructure and support."
