Blueprint Gaming Launches 'The Goonies Return' Slot

Casino game developer Blueprint Gaming has announced the launch of their newest video slot 'The Goonies Return', which sees the cast from the classic 80's movie returning looking for treasure for slot players.

The game is a 5 reel video slot that sees the characters like Mikey, Chunk, and Data all appearing on the reels for the chance to win big. The game has colossal wins and is part of the Jackpot King series of games, which has three progressive jackpots that can be won. Free Spins, Wilds, Win Multipliers, and more are also included, as is full mobile support.

Blueprint launched a Goonies video slot in 2018 after they signed a development deal with the film's creator Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

"By popular demand, we have combined an absolute favourite amongst players, The Goonies Return™, with the legendary Jackpot King progressive module, resulting in an epic new adventure," said Blueprint Gaming Director of Key Accounts and Marketing in the UK Jo Purvis. "The sequel to our classic game featuring the iconic gang proved just as popular as the original. Adding Jackpot King functionality is set to drive even further engagement, as well as open the gameplay to a new audience of jackpot players."

The Goonies Return is available now at casinos that offer Blueprint Gaming's library.

I tried this game a few days ago out of curiosity and I wasn't too impressed. I guess I just don't understand the hype behind the Goonies franchise? The slot was decent, didn't give any big winnings but since I'm not very familiar with the theme, I didn't find it to be very entertaining.

It's a cult classic 80's film, with a lot of its fans getting older and thereby playing slots. That's the real appeal. Give me a classic Robocop slot, full of gore and boobs.
