Intralot Extends Relationship With La Marocaine Des Jeux et des Sports

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

Gaming group Intralot has signed an extension with Morocco's lottery La Marocaine Des Jeux et des Sports to continue offering sportsbetting and other products through the end of next year.

The two groups have been working together since 2010, but last year both entities agreed to shorten their existing eight-year agreement to end on December 31st, 2022. La Marocaine Des Jeux et des Sports then began looking for additional bids on the contract to manage the services in the country. That new contract would take effect January 1st, 2023 and run eight years from then.

This appears to have been pushed out at least a year, as services are going to be covered by Intralot until that time.

MDJS is still accepting bids on the future services, and applicants will have until 10am on April 4th, 2022 to submit their proposal.

No comment from either group was made available.
