FanDuel Launches in Wyoming

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

On Thursday American sportsbetting company FanDuel announced that they've launched their sportsbetting app in the state of Wyoming, giving the state's gamblers a mobile option for which to place wagers on events.

The app would work like all other FanDuel apps in the country, offering single game bets, parlays, and in-play betting. Sports supported include football, hockey, baseball, basketball, and others around the world. Wyoming is the fifteenth state that FanDuel has expanded to, joining the likes of Iowa, Louisiana, Colorado, Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey, and others.

Users of the app have to be physically located in the state of Wyoming at the time of the wager and older than 21 years of age.

Wyoming has a population of less than 600,000 people, so its likely this market won't blossom into one of the more lucrative spots for FanDuel, but it does serve the role of seeing the company continue to expand throughout the United States.
