Entain to Rework Gala Bingo Brand

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

Betting group Entain is working to revamp its Gala Bingo brand, hiring the creative agency Neverland to help promote the long-standing bingo brand within the UK.

Neverland is seen as a premier ad agency in the UK, having worked with brands like NBC, Lenovo, and others. The company also has a presence in the gambling industry, as they've been working with Ladbrokes since 2020.

Gala's advertising budget is worth £13 million, and it looks like there'll be an extensive campaign to make Gala Bingo more appealing to players. Bingo is largely seen as a game for older generations, so it certainly appears that Neverland will have its work cut out for them.

Regarding the deal Gala Bingo's Sara Jolly said, "I am stoked to be working with Neverland, the agency is the perfect combination; powerful strategic thinking which delivers creative that knocks it out of the park."

Neverland's Simon Massey also commented, adding: "We're gonna bring bingo back with a bounce of fun to Britain."

We'll be keeping an eye on the campaigns that Neverland comes up with and examine them as they hit the market.
