Spearhead Studios Gets Dutch Gaming License

Game development group Spearhead Studios announced that they've been granted a gaming license by Dutch gaming regulator Kansspelautoriteit and will now be able to offer their casino games to betting sites in the country moving forward.

The licensing will see Spearhead games like Book of Souls and Dark Joker being made available to partner sites in the country. In addition to standard Spearhead games, the company puts out games from the likes of Lady Luck and Armadillo Studios. As of press time we don't know exactly who Spearhead is planning to work with in the market.

Currently, there are eleven licensed casino operators in the country, which went live in October of last year. Recently, the KSA's president said that they're working on approving more operators and expects that number to increase by summertime.

Regarding the licensing Spearhead Studios Managing Director Mathias Larsson said, "Spearhead Studios and our partners are always quick to enter new and profitable markets. We are currently present in 14, and we are always looking for the next opportunity to expand our reach. The Dutch market shows significant interest for our games, and we are ready to capitalize on that by getting certified in the region."
