Danish Self-Exclusion List Exceeds 30,000 People

This week it was revealed that Denmark's Register of Voluntarily Excluded Players has eclipsed more than 30,000 people, rising significantly from the numbers present in 2020.

The list saw 30,451 people on it as of December 31st, 2021, up from 26,115 at the end of 2020. The age demographic with the highest number of exclusions is those aged 20-29, with 30% of registrants.

The 30-39 age demographic has 28% of all exclusions.

Younger men make up 26% of all exclusions, with 26% being 20-29 and 22% being aged between 30-39.

As people get older, the number of exclusions goes down. Just 8% of exclusions are above 60. 6% are 60-69 and 2% are aged 70-79.
