This week Betsson revealed that they've signed a sponsorship agreement with Chilean football club Colo Colo, becoming a shirt sleeve sponsor of the team.
The sponsorship will see Betsson's logo on the home and away kits for the club, which plays in the Primera Division. The team is popular in the country and lauded for its success, having raked in 32 championships in the country's First Division. The agreement is good for 2022, but will have an extension possible through 2023 if both groups are happy with the results.
Betsson is working to increase brand recognition in the region, as South American punters are increasingly getting access to internet and mobile devices.
"In our drive of expanding in the region, we are also partnering up with local football clubs which we can support and grow," said Betsson Commercial Director of South America Andrea Rossi. "Besides allowing us to further strengthen our brand awareness in the region, it also gives back to the clubs, allowing them to invest more in their players, staff and facilities and making the sport we all love - football - more electrifying."
Colo Colo Commercial Manager Samuel Perez added: "We are very proud to welcome one of the most important gambling operators in the world, Betsson, to our family of sponsors."
