NetEnt Goes Ape With 'Silverback Gold' Slot Launch

Evolution subsidiary NetEnt is going to the jungle with the launch of its newest video slot 'Silverback Gold', which sees you looking for a rare species of great ape and will potentially cash in big if you do find them.

The game is a 5 reel affair that's set in an African jungle, complete with icons like snakes, birds, alligators, leopards, and the mysterious golden ape. Features include scatters, free spins, wild symbols, a feature buy option, and a max win of up to 45,000x your wagered amount. The slot is considered highly volatile, and it has built-in mobile compatibility.

Check out a preview of the game below:

Commenting on the launch Evolution Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said, "Silverback Gold™ will appeal to all generations of players, which is rare. It has many of the components of a great classic game but with fun new twists players are sure to love. The progression in win size in the free spins is powerful and players who convert all the Silverbacks to gold are in for the ride of their life."

Players can get in on the search for Silverback Gold now at casinos that offer NetEnt video slots.

Feels like it's been a long time since Netent launched a new game, the last one I recall was the Gonzo's Gold, which I wasn't a big fan of. Based on the preview, the game has pretty decent design, so I'll try it out. But the last year I've been quite disappointed with Netent releases.
