BetMGM Extends PGA Tour Sponsorship

This week online betting group BetMGM announced that they've signed a three-year extension on its existing sponsorship deal with the PGA Tour, which will now run through 2024.

The deal will see BetMGM continuing to promote odds using the PGA's official platforms, while also having the rights to use PGA assets in their own marketing materials within the US. The PGA Tour offers popular betting options for punters in times of the year when major American sports leagues like football, basketball, and hockey are on hiatus, and high odds on top players can generate lucrative bets for customers.

Regarding the extension, BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said, "The PGA Tour has been a fantastic partner and we look forward to continuing our relationship. In the last year, we've seen an increase in our players betting on golf and are excited to now be the exclusive odds provider for PGATour.com.

PGA Tour Senior VP of Media and Gaming Norb Gambuzza also commented, noting: "We look forward to working with BetMGM to integrate its advanced betting technologies for PGA TOUR fans on our digital platforms.

"Over the years, BetMGM has been a strong supporter of golf through sponsorship of various PGA TOUR players and tournaments. We are excited to continue the relationship."
