bet O bet Caught Using Pirated Games

Today our sister site LCB issued a report in which they claim to have found pirated games being offered at bet O bet Casino, although it appears likely that the site didn't know the games weren't legitimate.

The report was filed today and is the culmination of a report that has run for the past few months. In June, the site noticed some discrepancies with the Novomatic slots in regard to features as well as the fact that the games are offered in LCB's home country of Serbia, despite Novomatic not holding certification to provide the games in the jurisdiction. For its part, bet O Bet holds a gaming license through Curacao, which is about as rudimentary as a license can be.

LCB looked into the games and found they were using a server from a company called Delasport, which serves as an aggregation platform providing games to operators. The legit Novomatic games don't use that server, instead using their own server for the games.

Looking into Delasport's license claims, the company claims to have an MGA license, but looking into the MGA registry found no such license.

Presenting this information to bet O bet led to a rep responding to LCB, noting: "We don't have an agreement with the casino providers. Our agreement is with Delasport, which is an aggregator. All the providers are legit."

With that said, the casino shortly thereafter pulled the Novomatic games but provided no response to LCB.

As of press time the casino had yet to file a response with LCB.

Without a doubt, it appears that bet O bet didn't know of the pirated games, but save for the operator switching to a more reputable gaming aggregate, it's possible that there are more pirated games on offer. We advise players avoid playing at this site.

Oh that is serious. I know a bit about Delasport company so this is quite a shock, as I'd never think they would have illegitimate games. I hope there's going to be an update on this, as I'm sure the operator in question wasn't the only one having these pirated games if it came from an aggregator.
