Betting company Tipico announced that they've officially launched their online casino for the New Jersey gaming market, marking the first time that the German company has launched casino ops in the US.
The casino is being run through the license of the Ocean Casino Resort and is using software from developers including High5, NetEnt, Scientific Games, Gaming Realms, Everi, and Inspired Gaming. New Jersey marks the first US destination for Tipico, but the company plans to expand to additional states next year as they obtain gaming licenses in additional markets.
Currently, Tipico has sportsbetting services in Iowa and Indiana, in addition to New Jersey.
Regarding the launch Tipico US CEO Adrian Vella said, "With a portfolio of classic and popular games, the Tipico iGaming platform is a natural complement to our sportsbook."
"We are confident that this seamless, multi-state single-sign-on expansion of our product suite will advance our ability to acquire high-quality players in New Jersey and beyond, and retain them for the long-term as we roll out frequent new features."

I've known Tipico for being mostly operating in Germany, but I'm guessing that with the German regulations they were looking for a new big market to enter. While I'm not a huge fan of theirs, I think that New Jersey players will have a decent casino to play at.
