Scientific Games Purchases Authentic Gaming

Betting group Scientific Games announced today that they've come to an agreement to purchase developer Authentic Gaming, which will give SG an entry into the live dealer casino market.

The agreement will give Scientific Games an important foothold into a vertical that's growing in popularity and being offered in regulated markets around the world. This purchase comes just a few months after SG purchased Australian slot developer Lightning Box.

Authentic has a series of live dealer roulette games in their library. The company also works with the likes of Mr Green, 888, LeoVegas, and other major betting operators.

Regarding the deal, Scientific Games CEO Barry Cottle said, "We are thrilled to have Authentic Gaming join the Scientific Games family and expand our premium product portfolio as we execute on our vision to become the leading, cross-platform global game company.
