Michigan's gambling industry set a record for sportsbetting handle in October as bettors wagered $463.3 million, while gross gaming revenues also set new records.
Casino and sportsbook revenue in the state was up 6.3% from last month to $134 million, with $24.3 million from that total coming from online gaming. Tribal and commercial casinos in the state generated $109.7 million. After promotions and incentives, revenues were $103.6 million, which was still up 92.3% from September.
Online sportsbetting revenues were $4.7 million, beating September's $17,399. Online casino gambling revenues were $98.9 million.
Operators paid $20.8 million in taxes during the month.
