Italy's Gaming Industry Drops in October

Italy's gaming industry struggled slightly in October, as revenues dropped 1.2% for the period when compared to the same period last year.

Online gaming revenues were €243.9 million for the month, down slightly from last year. Online casino revenues were €148.8 million, with PokerStars Casino the biggest generator with a 9.2% share in revenues. Sisal had 8.8% revenue share, while Snai was third at 8%.

Sportsbetting revenues were down 51.6% to €117.9 million. Poker tournament rake was €8.4 million, while cash game revenues were up 5% to €5.6 million.

Retail betting also had a drop in revenue, coming in at €41.8 million. Goldbet had 23.1% in retail market share, while Snaitech had 18.8%, and Eurobet had 14.9%.
