GGPoker Launches in Netherlands

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

Online poker group GGPoker announced this week that they're launching their full operation in the Netherlands.

The move comes as GGPoker parent company NSUS Malta was announced as one of the ten approved operators in the Dutch market. The company had a soft launch at the beginning of the month, with the goal of ironing out any bugs or issues.

GGPoker has confidence that any issues have been resolved and has fully launched its operation in the newly-regulated market.

Commenting on the launch GGPoker Head of Europe Marco Trucco said, "The online poker landscape has changed a lot since the closure of the Dutch market, several years ago. Arguably, the biggest difference is that GGPoker is now the largest poker site in the world and the place where everyone loves to play.

"We're really excited to welcome Dutch players to GGPoker to compete for the most prestigious poker achievements or just to have some fun at the tables."

I got into poker when it was regulated here for like a month. Issue is that I have zero patience to play the long game. 😞
