This week streaming group subsidiary Fubo Gaming announced that they've signed a partnership deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association.
The deal will see Fubo Gaming logos featured inside the team's home arena, the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Additionally, Fubo Gaming will get access to TV and radio broadcasting branding as well as digital asset rights. The betting operator will also be presenting the "Cavs Pick 'Em" contest, which sees players predicting the outcome before games.
Fubo Gaming is a subsidiary of Fubo TV, which provides streaming television services in the United States. The company is looking to launch its Fubo Sportsbook before the end of the year and has recently signed a similar partnership deal with the New York Jets.
Commenting on the deal Fubo Gaming President Scott Butera said, "We're thrilled to have our first NBA team partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers, an innovative sports franchise known to have one of the most passionate fan bases in the league.
"This partnership is a natural extension of our overall goal to deliver sports fans dynamic and engaging experiences with the teams and sports they love."
Cavaliers Senior VP of Global Partnerships Shelly Cayette added: "We couldn't be more excited to align our Cavaliers brand with Fubo Gaming, a company that shares a mutual passion for innovation and as we like to say, who are 'obsessed with finding a better way' in such a new and rapidly-evolving sports gaming category.
"We are proud to team up with Fubo Gaming and help bolster their brand presence across the greater Cleveland region, all over Ohio, and with our fanbase for many years to come."
