This week the Stockholm Open tennis tournament announced that they've brought on Betway as the group's exclusive betting partner.
The tournament is the oldest in the Association of Tennis Professionals, and it will see Betway branding being provided throughout the venue and is the tenth tournament that Betway has sponsored this year. The Stockholm Open is set to take place from November 6th through the 13th and will be the first ATP tournament held in the last two years, due largely to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The news comes as Betway's parent company announced that they're set to merge with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp. for $4.75 billion.
Commenting on the deal Betway CEO Anthony Werkman said, "It's fantastic for the Betway brand to be associated with Stockholm Open. As the world's oldest ATP indoor tournament, the event has a fantastic history and we're thrilled to be their exclusive betting partner for the next three years."
Stockholm Open Head Kristoffer Svensson also commented, noting: "We are happy to welcome Betway to Stockholm Open. Together with Betway and all our tennis fans we look forward to a week full of action and fantastic tennis."
