Betting operator MeridianBet has signed an agreement with Wazdan and will adopt the latter's software into their site as a result.
The deal will mark the first time that Wazdan will be entering the Balkan region as MeridianBet has a strong presence in Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia. The agreement will see Wazdan's full suite of games coming over Larry the Leprechaun, 9 Lions, and Telly Reels. The casino is licensed in Malta, so further extensions into new countries are possible.
The Balkan region is seeing a boom in online betting, as countries like Serbia have regulated the industry and began licensing operators and software groups.
Commenting on the deal MeridianBet Head of Online Casino Milan Djurmez said, "Wazdan's slot offering brings immersive, engaging products to players and we're very happy to have agreed this deal.
"With a plethora of customisable options for each game, our customers will have a huge range of products available at their fingertips, and we are eager to see how they receive Wazdan's hits."
Wazdan's Head of Sales Radka Bacheva added: "We're delighted to make our first appearance in the Balkan market with MeridianBet. As an operator with an impressive reach across three major territories, it gives us a real boost as we look to make a statement in this region.
"Our games portfolio continues to add innovative and exciting content to the market, and we look forward to a positive relationship with MeridianBet."
