Cosmopolitan Owners Want $5 Billion for Property

The owner of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is reportedly eyeing a purchase of their property on the Las Vegas Strip, and will reportedly be looking to get $5 billion or more for the location.

The company had previously been seeking a buyer a few years ago for $4 billion but didn't find a buyer. This time things are different, as Apollo Global Managment Inc. is interested, and is looking at tabling an offer, as is MGM Resorts International.

A lot of different casino operators have been shelling out money for properties, with MGM having sold two hotels in the city to Blackstone for $3.89 billion.

We're following this story and will be updating readers as more developments arise.
