BetMGM Launches Sportsbook in Mississippi

American betting brand BetMGM has launched its latest sportsbook app in the state of Mississippi, although wagers are limited to on-premise punters at the Gold Strike Casino Resort for the time being.

The app will allow punters to get in on pre-game, live bets, futures, and different parlays while on the casino grounds. To ensure this, the app will use geolocation services, which are similar in scope to the services that the company uses in other states. Punters who use the app will be able to earn points on the MGM M Life Rewards program as they bet.

Commenting on the launch BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said, "We've had great success with the opening of the BetMGM Book Bar & Grill at Gold Strike and are thrilled to complement our retail offering with the launch of the BetMGM mobile app in Mississippi.

"Sports fans at MGM's world-class Tunica resort can now use their mobile devices to engage with the teams they love, while earning rewards for their gameplay."
