Michigan-based resort FireKeepers Casino Hotel will be hosting a daredevil spectacle next week as they prepare to open a new hotel tower.

The stunt will see Nik Wallenda of the famous Flying Wallendas doing a tightrope walk between the casino's existing hotel tower and the new one, which is slated to open around the same time. He will walk the rope about 200 feet above the ground, while spectators are allowed to watch in person. The casino will also stream the stunt on social media, letting those around the world get in on the potentially lethal action.

Speaking about the stunt FireKeepers CEO Kathy George said, "As exciting as this event will be, we don't want anyone missing out. We are thrilled to welcome Nik Wallenda to FireKeepers, and can think of no better way to signify our moving forward than with his aerial adventure across our towers."

FireKeepers began work on the expansion in 2019, expanding their existing 243 rooms with an additional 203 rooms that's poised to welcome more visitors, which in turn will be able to turn to the casino's large gaming floor.
