Station Casinos Unveils Plans for New Casino

This week Station Casinos announced that their Durano Drive project will kick off in the first quarter of 2022 and will eventually provide 100,000 square feet of gaming space.

When completed, the casino would have 2,000 slots, 40 table games, and more than 200 hotel rooms on the 71 acre site. The company is expecting the project to take between 18 and 24 months to be completed. Exact cost projections for the casino weren't made available, as Station is working to finalize bids and purchase order decisions.

In an earnings call Station Casinos CFO Stephen Cootey said, "We are working through the planning and budgeting phases of this project with a goal and expectation to have a shovel in the ground in the first quarter of 2022."

We'll be updating readers as the groundbreaking and other developments arise.
