PGCB Fines Rivers Casino $7,500

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

This week the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced that they've fined Sugerhouse HSP Gaming, the operator of Rivers Casino Philadelphia $7,500 due to an internal controls violation.

The violation occurred when an employee at the casino duplicated surveillance footage onto his mobile phone in order to help settle a dispute between the casino and a player. Duplicating security footage without permission from the security manager is a violation of gaming regulations in the state, resulting in the fine.

The state has been busy of late, having issued fines of $284,000 in fines in June to three casinos in the Keystone State.

No comment from the regulator or the casino was available as of press time.
