Game developer Evoplay has lost its Malta gaming license after the Malta Gaming Authority said that the developer and operator failed to pay their licensing fees.
The company was found to be in breach of rule 10 of the country's gaming regulations, which stipulates that license holders have to meet financial obligations. The license was canceled on July 16th following failure by Evoplay to pay their licensing fees.
The operator is not allowed to carry out gaming operations, register new players, or accept deposits, nor can they claim to hold an MGA license.
It's entirely possible that Evoplay will have their license reinstated should they opt to pay their licensing fees.
No comment from Evoplay was available as of press time.

That's definitely not great for their reputation, losing a license is not news that can be easily forgotten. Hope it goes well for them, otherwise it could potentially mean people losing their jobs.
Yeah, that's a big license to lose. Thankfully its just for not paying the fee, rather than something criminal or shady.

Yes exactly, I think because of that it's possible for them to have a comeback. Whether it will change their reputation, that's a different question.
