Dragonara Casino Gets 10 Year Extension in Malta

Malta-based land casino Dragonara has been given a 10-year extension on the operation of their location by the Malta Gaming Authority.

The new licensing will take effect this month and comes after there was a request for international companies to submit proposals to operate the casino. As part of the licensing, Dragonara Gaming Limited will invest €10 million into the casino to implement new technology and equipment into the property.

There are currently four land casinos operating in the country, with Portomaso Casino, Casino Malta, and Oracle Casino joining Dragonara. The island destination is also one of the most prominent spots in the world for licensing online casino operators and software providers.

Dragonara has held their license for the past ten years, and they've recently signed a 64 year extension for the property in which they're located.
