Casino gaming group Scientific Games has announced that they've come to terms with Hacksaw Gaming and will distribute the latter's titles across its OpenGaming platform.
The deal will initially see Hacksaw titles distributed in the United Kingdom, although the American and Canadian betting markets are slated to get the titles later this year. Hacksaw is known for their video slots, scratch cards, and fixed odds titles. Some of their most popular slots include Frutz, Let it Snow, and Chaos Crew.
After the games are made available on the OpenGaming platform, they'll be offered to different operators, who can take on the games and add them to their libraries.
"This deal with Hacksaw Gaming assists in our mission to bring the widest variety of ground-breaking content into the OpenGaming ecosystem," said Scientific Games Digital SVP of Gaming Dylan Slaney. "With its strong offering of scratch cards and slots games, the partnership provides operators with the ability to differentiate their product offering, using our powerful platform in order to appeal to new players."
Hacksaw Gaming COO Marcus Cordes added: "Partnering with Scientific Games is a huge milestone for Hacksaw Gaming. Scientific Games is one of the industry's largest content distribution networks, so being able to deliver content through one channel to multiple operators with international presence will help with our growth strategy in the years to come. As a fairly new provider, it's really great to know industry leaders such as Scientific Games want to work with us and see the potential in our content for their operators. Our current portfolio is very strong and we are confident that this partnership will only enhance our position in the market even further to ensure great success for both parties."
