Internet gaming operator PointsBet has gone live in the state of New Jersey after it gained admission to the state's betting industry by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
The new site will provide online sportsbetting and casino services within the state of New Jersey after having already been live in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. It's estimated that the current markets can generate revenues north of $3.5 billion annually once they mature.
It's likely that this launch with see a massive advertising spend from PointsBet, as they've previously invested heavily in advertising campaigns and team sponsorships.
Commenting on the launch PointsBet CEO Sam Swanell said, "We are thrilled to be able to expand our igaming presence in the United States and bring our proprietary online casino product to the robust New Jersey market."
