Game designer OneTouch is getting ready to begin offering its games in the Japanese online market with a series of games that they're localizing to be aimed at the market.

OneTouch said that they're going to be launching Jewelry Cats and BeatEx on August 2nd, with another ten games being developed and set to be released in the upcoming months. OneTouch had previously entered the Latin American gaming market, which itself is growing as more people get access to high speed internet connections.

Casino gambling is generally illegal in Japan, but online gaming continues to grow, as punters there were tracking ahead of even mature markets like Europe, with revenues in the region growing more than 150% last year.

Commenting on the upcoming launch OneTouch Head of Business Development Petra Maria Poola said, "The first half of 2021 has been phenomenal for us with our push into more strategic markets including LatAm and now Japan, both of which are exploding and offer endless growth potential for our premium games. There will be many more announcements to come in both territories so watch this space."
