Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati Launches Next Week

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

The new Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati is opening for players next week, letting players get in on the music-themed property beginning on July 15th.

The local press was given a tour of the property this week, letting them peek at the various pieces of music memorabilia. Some of the pieces on display include KISS band jumpsuits, Nikki Sixx's motorcycle, and a framed Aerosmith setlist.

The casino will also feature 100,000 square feet of gaming space, including 2,000 slot machines, 85 gaming tables, and a dedicated poker room. The property was formerly known as the Jack Horseshoe Casino but was sold in 2019, to Vici Properties, who subleased the casino to Hard Rock International.

Regarding the Hard Rock's music memorabilia, the casino's Giovanni Taliaferro said, "Everyone, when they think of Hard Rock, they think of the memorabilia, they think of music, they think of being able to see the artifacts on display. And then when they come to the venue, they can come knowing that they're seeing authentic pieces from some of their very favorite artists throughout the course of music history."

Hard Rock restaurants and casinos take the cake in terms of cheesy memorabilia in my eyes. Even worse than Planet Hollywood...

These sorts of themed restaurants have almost all failed miserably where I live. Planet Hollywood has been and gone and I thought the Hard Rock Cafe had too, but apparently it moved years ago to the most touristy part of town.
