1X2 Gets Greek License

Betting group 1X2 Network has announced that they've obtained a betting license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission and will now be able to offer their games to internet casinos located within Greece.

The company submitted its software for review to the Hellenic Gaming Commission, who found that 1X2 and their subsidiary Iron Dog Studios met the standards set forth for software groups. With the license, casinos will be able to take on titles like Smoking Hot Fruits, 1 Million Megaways BC, and the new Rock the Reels Megaways.

1X2 is a global presence, with games live in regulated markets like the UK, Gibraltar, Sweden, Spain, the Isle of Man, Italy, Colombia, and Malta. There are more than 300 casinos that offer the company's games, and with this licensing, there'll undoubtedly be more spots where the games are available.

Speaking about the licensing 1X2 Network CCO Kevin Reid noted: "We are honored to have been awarded a license by the Hellenic Gaming Commission, allowing us to offer our full suite of games from Iron Dog Studios and 1X2gaming to operators in the newly regulated Greek market.

"This forms part of wider plans to secure certifications in regulated markets around the world, bringing our award-winning content to more operators and players than ever before. We really are on a role with our latest titles, which have become firm player favourites.

"We are also excited to be able to bring Branded Megaways™ to the regulated Greek market; this concept has taken the sector by storm and we look forward to working with more operators to develop their own unique Megaways™ titles."
