Microgaming Working With On Air Entertainment

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Betting giant Microgaming has announced that they've come to terms with On Air Entertainment, and will be working to launch new live dealer casino titles that will feature new and bold titles.

The new slate of games will be slated to be launched early next year, and will be provided through the Microgaming Quickfire platform. On Air is a new game development studio, having launched in January of this year. It is based out of Malta and runs a live dealer studio out of Riga, Latvia. Likely games to be included in the launch are table games like roulette and blackjack. Partnering with Microgaming will give the company a large berth in terms of distribution to casino clients around the globe.

Speaking about the deal Microgaming CEO John Coleman said, "On Air Entertainment represents a new evolution of live casino gaming, possessing all the experience, talent and passion required to innovate in the live casino space. I am delighted that Microgaming is playing an integral part in their exciting journey."

On Air Entertainment Managing Director Andres Rengifo also commented, adding: "Our vision is to be the global innovator of choice for tailored live casino experiences, and to achieve this we're bringing together the very brightest and best live casino talent from across the industry.

"Powered by Microgaming, we will have access to unrivaled customer and market reach - this is a game-changer for us, and we can't wait to begin broadcasting together."

I think it makes sense that such game provider as Microgaming would partner up to offer live casino product. Interested to see how these live games would look like.

I think Microgaming already has their own live games, but working in a new studio may afford them the chance to distribute stuff that's a bit different (game shows?).

Do they? I'm not a big Live game player so perhaps I've missed it. I think they have a Real Dealer studio games that are not live games but pre-recorded. But I think that regardless it could be something interesting that they come up with.
