This week it was revealed that Bally's Corporation has partnered with Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Kansas and will be offering a sportsbetting app in the state when the activity is eventually legalized.
The move will mark Kansas as the 14th state that Bally's has sportsbetting operations in, joining the likes of Delaware, Missouri, New Jersey, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and others. Under the terms of the deal, Bally's will launch their mobile sportsbook, which will provide Kansans with the opportunity to place wagers on different events throughout the world. The product would use the license from Boot Hill to provide the rights, and would be restricted to adults physically located in the state at the time of wagers.
"We are extremely excited to work with Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Kansas," said Bally's CEO George Papanier. "This relationship, which marks the 14th state in which customers can access our omnichannel platform, provides a significant opportunity for Bally's to enter into yet another attractive mobile sports betting market. With the approval of pending sports betting legislation in the state, we can't wait for Kansas sports fans to engage in our best-in-class online sports betting offerings."
Boot Hill Casino & Resort CEO Clark Stewart added: "This is an exciting time in Kansas gaming history, and as a manager for the Kansas Lottery, we are thrilled to embark on this pivotal endeavor with Bally's. Bally's has demonstrated impressive growth and has an outstanding operating track record. We are confident that bringing Bally's diverse and interactive suite of online sports betting solutions to the Boot Hill Casino will significantly enhance the gaming experience for Kansas sports fans."
No timetable for the launch of the service was available as of press time.
