Michigan Players Uncover Imminent Live Dealer Games

On Sunday some casino players from Michigan discovered that Evolution live dealer casino games are very close to being launched at DraftKings.

The news came from a player in a Detroit sportsbetting page on Facebook, who indicated that the Evolution games were available. Casino Listings News picked up on the story and immediately began an investigation. Indeed, players who navigate to the Evolution first-person baccarat games can close the game to be kicked into an Evolution menu. From here, the option to "Go Live" is found in the lower righthand side of the screen. Clicking this opens up a DraftKings branded menu that includes a limited selection of blackjack and baccarat games.

Two of the main blackjack games had minimum wagers of $50 per hand, while Infinite Blackjack was also available with a minimum bet of $1 per. Single 0 and Double 0 roulette games were also available.

We initially thought that the games were an offshoot of the New Jersey games already being provided by Evolution, but this does not appear to be the case. While the games could be broadcast from an Evolution studio in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, the tables are indeed branded for Michigan, as seen in the picture above.

Unfortunately, while testing the games our bets were rejected, leading us to believe that these games are currently undergoing testing for a launch in the very near future. There hasn't been any marketing of live dealer games in Michigan to this point, and we figure that there'll be some advertising of the games on a wider scale when they do go live.

Still, for players in the Wolverine State, this appears to be an indication that live dealer games are coming... perhaps sooner than anyone thought.
