UK Suspends Nektan's Gaming License

This week it was revealed that the UK Gambling Commission moved to suspend the gaming license of Nektan, making the group's software and sites unable to be offered within the country for the time being.

Nektan was found to have breached the conditions of its gaming license after a review by the regulator, although the exact reasoning for the suspension wasn't given.

A statement by the UKGC on the matter said in part: "The suspension follows an ongoing section 116 review into the operator, as we suspect Nektan (Gibraltar) Limited has breached conditions of its licence, that it is unsuitable to carry on the licensed activities, and that the licensed activities are being or have been carried on in a manner which is inconsistent with the licensing objectives. We therefore consider it appropriate to suspend the licence with immediate effect pending the conclusion of the review or until such time as the operator can satisfy the Commission it is operating compliantly."

Nektan held a casino and bingo license through the country, and any sites that it operated under are dictated to stop operation in the UK. The operator has been instructed to continue issuing payouts to players. Those who have a balance with the company are urged to get their funds withdrawn immediately.

I played at Nektan before, they are predatory down to the bone.
I played at one of there sites back in 2016 and i got there welcome bonus, surprisinly won 600eur with my cash before the bonus was affected, because of this i got to cashout the 600eur without any terms and conditions being broken as i cancelled the bonus and withdrew(Took them 7 working days to verify the account)
They then advertised coutnless sister sites spamming email daily i.e Monster Casino etc..
I joined up after winning at Vegazino and was banned across all sites because they had a condition that a player can only have one account across the network which i found ridiculous as they were mailing me all the time with new sites. i hope nobody lost too much money from that company by using there bonuses(Also Capped)
Just my two cents on Nektan.
Glad they have been suspended hopefully for good or enfornce improvement for them

It's quite a big deal for them to lose their license. But somehow it doesn't surprise me, for some reason I just never had great impression of them.

Well, could be many reasons. They have always been a scummy white label operator with very poor terms for players and low withdrawal limits. Plus they went into administration last year which means they basically ran out of money, so I am surprised to see that they are still operating at all.

No wonder! I remember seeing a bunch of their white labels and they always seems very much slap-and go without any attention to detail, I remember seeing weird bonus offers too now that you mention it.
