Game developer Playtech has officially launched its games in Michigan after launching with Play Gun Lake in partnership with Parx Casino.
Play Gun Lake is owned by the Gun Lake Band of Pottawatomi Indians out of the southwest part of the state. The casino launched this week in conjunction with Parx, who is also present in Indiana, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Thus far, there are only a few Playtech games available, including the slot Top Gun, which is based on the popular 80's film of the same name.
Commenting on the launch Parx Casino Senior VP of iGaming Matthew Cullen said, "Parx is constantly expanding its offerings to take user experience to another level, and to do so with Playtech's industry-leading content is particularly exciting."
Punters in Michigan wanting to play the Playtech slots have to be 21 or older and physically located in Michigan at the time of the wagers.
