Betting group LeoVegas has announced that responsible gaming interactions between itself and customers rose in 2020, with interactions rising 293%.
The company reported 10,834 interactions during the year and also reported that they saw self-excluded reports rise to 275,991. Responsible gambling reviews also rose 55.9%. Players that set deposit limits did drop 53% to 418,450 and the average revenue per customer was €65 during the year.
The rise in interactions wasn't given a firm reasoning, but its likely that punters that were forced to stay at home are the root cause.
LeoVegas has stated an intention to maintain and improve upon its responsible gaming processes and the reporting of numbers such as this play a role in that process.
No comment from the company was available regarding the report.
