FanDuel Signs Sponsorship Deal With Detroit Tigers, Red Wings

American betting brand FanDuel has announced that they've signed partnerships with the Detroit Red Wings hockey team as well as the Detroit Tigers baseball team in an effort to continue pushing its brand in the newly-regulated Michigan gaming market.

FanDuel is owned by Flutter Entertainment and works to operate a sportsbook and internet casino in conjunction with the MotorCity Casino. MotorCity is owned by Illitch Holdings Gaming, a division of the company that also owns both sports franchises. The agreement will see the FanDuel sportsbook being pushed during media broadcasts for both teams, as well as signage at both stadiums. This agreement comes as the MLB season got underway late last week and crowds are being accepted into stadiums across the country.

Commenting on the deal FanDuel CMO Mike Raffensperger said, "After a very successful launch in Michigan, we are excited to continue our momentum by partnering in this way with two of the most iconic sports organizations in the country."
