American betting group Scientific Games Corporation has announced that they've extended their content agreement with Entain, which will continue offering the software group's platform to its brands moving forward.
The two companies have been working together for a while now, with brands like bwin, Party Casino, Ladbrokes, Coral, and Gala all getting access to the OpenGaming System, which provides more than 3,000 games. The extension deal will run through 2024, and it's likely that we'll see an extension coming before this new contract expires.
Entain already offers some of the biggest brands in iGaming in regulated markets throughout the world. The company is most prominent throughout Europe, and is building its presence in new territories as well.
Commenting on the deal Scientific Games Senior Vice President of Gaming Dylan Slaney said, "Entain is a hugely important customer of ours and we're delighted the group has entrusted OpenGaming for a further three years. We have an extensive roadmap of exciting new titles that Entain brands will receive over the coming months through our content aggregation platform. With the robust regulatory tools that are embedded within OpenGaming, we're in the perfect position to provide valuable support for Entain as the group grows its reach within regulated markets."
Entain's CPO Valery Gelfman added: "Over a number of years, OpenGaming has been a key component of our online gaming offer, helping to establish it as the world's biggest and best casino portfolio. Extending our partnership with Scientific Games will enable us to continue to build our market share in regulated markets in Europe and beyond. We're committed to OpenGaming and look forward to delivering even more exciting content to our ever-increasing player base."
