The Bally's Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City launched a new permanent sportsbook this week as the FanDuel-branded spot began taking wagers from customers on the Boardwalk.
The new book is formally known as the FanDuel Sportsbook and is accepting wagers 24 hours a day through a combination of kiosks and in-person registers. The spot will have a 25-foot-wide LED video wall as well as smaller 10-foot-wide panels on the adjacent walls. Customers will be able to order food and drinks in the book to enjoy while they watch the events play out.
Bally's initially partnered with FanDuel last year to launch online sportsbetting services, but has expanded to include these retail books. New Jersey is emerging as one of the largest betting markets in the United States, as it features both online and land-based gaming options for punters.
As of press time, we didn't have a comment from either company, but the book is available now for customers who want to visit Bally's in Atlantic City.
