888 Considers American IPO

As it sees its presence in the United States grows larger, operator 888 Holdings is considering an American IPO in order to spur American investment in the new frontier.

The company is currently listed in the UK, but the American market is new and exciting and 888 is keen to find a way to grow their brand while the region is still new to regulated online gaming. In addition to investors, there are different media deals and sponsorships that are on the table for the company. 888 has had a productive last year, as revenues in different markets were up sharply as punters were at home due to the pandemic and unable to visit traditional casino or sportsbetting venues.

Commenting on the potential listing 888 CEO Itai Pazner said, "There might be opportunities like that, to float, to re-float, to split out - there are many different structures. I assume down the line, we will consider different options as the U.S. becomes more meaningful, and definitely if it continues to trade at these kinds of multiples."

"We're in contact with bankers and advisers, and there are many ideas that are floating out there."
