Playtech to Enter Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Casino software group Playtech is entering the US gaming markets of Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania thanks to a deal that they've signed with Greenwood Racing.

Playtech is already operating in New Jersey with Bet365 and MGM Resorts. For this deployment Playtech will instead be partnering with Greenwood Racing, which operates the Parx Casino brand. The agreement will see Playtech providing the brand with its slots and table games through its platform, transitioning the casinos from the GAN platform that they're currently using.

Commenting on the new market Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said, "This strategic partnership with the Greenwood companies represents a major milestone for Playtech and I'm excited to work with them to help achieve their growth plans in the coming years. The US is a highly strategic market and this multi-state, multi-product agreement highlights the demand for the full breadth of our product offering.

"This is the next step for Playtech in the US and we are delighted to work with the Greenwood companies to capture this exciting long-term opportunity."

I'm convinced this partnership will help Playtech to get more exposure on their slots offering. Nowadays I don't see Playtech games much in MGA/Curacao casinos or at least they're not really positioned anywhere to bring attention. Therefore I believe this will help them to increase their revenue.
