Four Winds Casino to Launch Online in Michigan

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

Today the Michigan Gaming Control Board announced that they've authorized Four Winds Casino to offer an online casino and sportsbook to those located in the state.

The approval makes the Four Winds the 11th operator to gain online approval in the state. The casino group is owned by The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, who runs casinos in Hartford, New Buffalo, and Dowagiac. The online operation will be powered by Pala Interactive. Punters need to be 21 years of age or older and physically located in the state in order to place the wagers.

Pala partners with the likes of IGT, High5Games, Microgaming, and other major players when it comes to providing slots and table games.

"We welcome the addition of Four Winds Casinos and Pala Interactive to Michigan's growing online gaming and sports wagering market," said MGCB Executive Director Richard Kalm. "Their participation will generate revenue to support education, economic development and the Pokagon Band's tribal community."

As of press time we don't have a launch date for the launch of the casino.
