Online sportsbetting group PointsBet has been authorized by the Michigan Gaming Control Board to begin offering online services in the Wolverine State when the market launches at noon on Friday.
PointsBet is partnering with The Lac View Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians to offer services in the state. It has become the tenth online betting operator to get their approval. The company has undertaken a massive marketing campaign in the state and is partnered with the Detroit Red Wings hockey team with prominent signage at Little Caesars Arena.
Commenting on the approval MGCB executive director Richard S. Kalm said, "The MGCB team worked closely with the Lac Vieux Desert tribe and PointsBet to wrap up regulatory requirements for online sports betting in time for the initial launch.
"Other operators will launch as they meet the requirements, which are designed to protect participants and instill confidence in honest gaming."

The wagering requirements I've seen on these bonuses are great! I saw a 1x playthrough on a free chip. I'm going to be reviewing to take a look and see what's available.
Those are great news for US players- good luck Slim with the free chip! I have heard the Pointsbet name but since I am not really too interested in betting, it's probably not for me.
Thanks blck! The market launches in about a half hour, so I'll be diving in head first.
Yeah, that sounds great man, how's your first impressions?
I guess that's the bookie you've chose to place your wagers on?
