American betting company BetMGM has announced that they've launched a new sportsbetting app in Iowa in conjunction with Diamond Jo Casino out of Dubuque.

The new product will provide those within the state of Iowa the chance to place wagers on different sports. The app launched on January 4th and in addition, the wagers can be placed through the BetMGM website. Sportsbetting was originally introduced into the Hawkeye State in August 2019 but had a requirement for punters to register accounts in-person.

MGM is known for their casino resorts throughout the United States, and they're operating in the online realm as well as more states introduce casino and sportsbetting regulations. Currently, the company is operating in New Jersey, Nevada, Colorado, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Iowa. BetMGM is also slated to launch in Michigan when it opens for online betting in the near future.
