Slot designer Wazdan has announced that its been granted a gaming license through the jurisdiction of Colombia, giving the developer entrance into the Latin American market.

The certification will see Wazdan able to provide slots in Colombia with operators that also hold licenses in the country. Colombia launched their online gaming market back in 2016, and operators obtain sublicenses through local spots. The developer's games include Infinity Heroes, Choco Reels, Gem Splitter, and Reel Joke, all of which can be played via desktop and mobile devices. Wazdan also operates within Portugal, the UK, Romania, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, and Switzerland.

Commenting on the deal Wazdan's Albert Bellavista said, "Colombia's solid regulatory framework makes it the logical location for us to focus our Latin American expansion and we're looking forward to forming successful and longstanding partnerships in the market.

"This certification is yet another milestone for our business and we have no doubt that the popularity of our games with local players will see them become staples of operators' online lobbies."
